Background
I am an anthropologist and dual PhD candidate at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the University of Edinburgh. I completed my M.A. in Anthropology at the Universidad Católica de Temuco (Chile), where I conducted research on the production of difference in courts of law in relation to the Mapuche people in southern Chile.
My current PhD research focuses on manifestations of Mapuche religiosity and ritual in contexts of confinement, examining how these practices unfold among prisoners, their families, communities, and support networks.
My PhD supervisors here are:
Dr. Magnus Course
Dr. Lotte Segal
