Description

You want to pursue a global career, undertake international research or field work, or secure a post with an international NGO or agency? Without previous experience, how do you approach language and cultural differences? Join expert international development consultant Lorraine Porteous as she helps decode the meaning of cross-cultural communications, how to overcome barriers to communications and how to recognise your own cultural bias. Learn about how to identify the limits of your personal beliefs and where the line is between what you can accept, or what you might find challenging to accept in your work.

This is an essential workshop for any student intending to pursue international research or work post study

Please note: This session will be facilitated in-person in CMB Practice Suite, 1.12
