Design Thinking for Social and Political Science
Description
Design thinking is not just for product designers. It can be applied to social and political problems as well. This session will focus on the Stanford University d.school design thinking process (empathise, define, ideate, prototype, and test) and introduce “empathic questioning” to assure that SSPS students uncover the underlying issues associated with a given problem. The secret to effective design thinking is the “front-end” problem-framing process requiring an advanced questioning competency that fosters empathy and trust. This hands-on session will open your eyes to the power of design thinking and provide you with a new approach to solving complex problems.
Please note this session will be delivered online via Collaborate. The link to join the event will be sent in a separate email.
