Description

You’ve spent time considering the focus and reach of your event, you’ve gained funding, created a guest list and are confident in your content... but what if no-one comes?

You can plan the best event in the world but without attendees it won’t achieve the maximum impact. This workshop will offer you the chance to reflect on the purpose of your event, who your target audience are and how to reach and excite them when you are up against so much competition. Whether you are planning for an impact project event or just want top tips for the future, this 90 minute workshop will be fun, interactive and informative.

  • Participants will gain a strong understanding of the purpose and value of taking a planned approach to event promotion.
  • Participants will explore common approaches to event promotion and explore the best mode and media to use to reach participants depending on factors such as demographic, tone and focus.
  • Participants will have the opportunity to put there learning in to place through action-led practice and group work activities.
  • Participants will leave with an action plan on how to promote their upcoming event.

Note: This is an evening event
