Description

Learning how to speak effectively is an essential skill for university. Our session will look at the variety of contexts in which speaking skills are useful. Including engaging and contributing to discussions, preparing and delivering presentations and giving and receiving feedback. We will also explore the further resources and support available.

We will discuss:

• Building confidence in speaking, managing shyness and learning how to work with your fears and strengths
• Developing skills in listening to and engaging with your peers
