In this workshop we will discuss why we write academic essays, how to approach your essay questions and how to create and develop an essay plan.

We will discuss:

• The purpose of an essay and the University's marking criteria
• Planning the essay writing process
• Interpreting and approaching essay questions
• Creating an essay plan and developing an argument

This session is a requirement for the Academic Skills Development Certificate.
