Description

In recent years, several digital tools have been released that are specifically designed to assist the research process. These include online platforms for finding and collating the relevant literature, sites to boost your online profile and attract attention for your research out puts, project management tools and writing productivity. This vast array of (approximately 1,000) tools can be overwhelming and time consuming to learn so how do researchers know what to use?

This workshop will introduce researchers to a selection of tools that can complement the research process including aspects such as literature searching, project management, profile visibility, interaction and collaboration.

Additional resources and information are also provided so that participants can explore other tools in their own time and everyone is encouraged to share and recommend resources. The workshop will include short demonstrations, case studies, group discussions and examples from the instructor’s own experience.

Please note: This session will be facilitated online via Zoom. Joining link will be sent out via email closer to the date.
