Elizabeth Bomberg is a Professor of Environmental Politics.

Her research examines sustainability activism and governance. Her expertise lies in two broad areas:

  1. comparative environmental policymaking in advanced industrial states
  2. environmental advocacy, especially its comparative dimensions and new area of faith based activism

Professor Bomberg is attending COP26 as a University of Edinburgh delegate. 

Joining her are two School of Social and Political Science students:

  • Rona Hardie (postgraduate, MSc Global Environment, Politics and Society)
  • Molly Shelton (undergraduate, MA Sustainable Development)

Ahead of COP26, Elizabeth and colleagues took part in an event called Changing World Conversations: It's not too late!, where they separated the science from the myths and discussed how we might address misinformation around climate change.
