Women's political participation, women's political representation, civil society, East Asian politics (specialised in Hong Kong studies)
Background
Fiona is interested in women’s political participation, women’s political representation, civil society, with a regional focus on East Asia. Before joining the University of Edinburgh as a PhD candidate in the School of Social and Political Science, she researched female political participation and parliamentary representation by co-working multiple research projects in the higher education industry.
Fiona obtained her M.A. in Gender Studies from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a BSocSc (Hons) in Government and International Studies (minored in History) from Hong Kong Baptist University.
