I am a Social Work Educator with 19 years of teaching and research experience. I have done my PhD and Government-funded research on Organizational practices of Non-Government Organisations. Appointed as an adjunct faculty in the School of Health and Human Services, Nazareth University, USA for the summer A Semester in 2015. I was the project lead, partnering with Israel and Australia, in the International project funded by IASSW in 2022. I could also initiate many international summer schools as well as semester abroad models with partner universities in social work. Research and publication interests include integrated health models, participatory project planning & management methods, mental health of elderly and youth, caregiver support in palliative care and International Social Work. I am currently the editorial review board member of International Journal of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine and peer reviewer for International journals including ISW, Social Work Education, F1000, Community Mental Health, Journal of Gerontological Social Work etc. I also serve as consultant for Non-Government Organisations and has conducted impact assessment studies for corporate and Government Departments. I also conduct training sessions for various organisations on Yoga and mental wellbeing, self-care though yoga and arm chair yoga for working professionals. I am also an approved research guide in Mahatma Gandhi University for doctoral research. I was awarded for ‘Research in Social Work Education’ launched by the European Association of Schools of Social Work (EASSW) in 2023.
