Research interests

I am part of the the SPARK project (https://lnkd.in/ep8nhhZr), where we investigate the role of knowledge in parliaments at subnational, national and supranational levels. My research focuses on the European Parliament, specifically its health policy. Conducting a mixed-methods comparative case study, I aim to obtain valuable insights into how European parliamentary actors gather, analyse, and use knowledge. More specifically, I investigate what types of knowledge they engage with, how, and under what circumstances, the reasons for this engagement, and the different interpretations of knowledge.
