Research interests

I research global health and environmental politics, drawing on critical policy studies and political economy approaches to examine corporate power and global governance

My current research agenda focuses on pollution and the political economy of plastics exploring: (i) the strategies of the 'petrochemical bloc' in negotiations of a UN global plastics treaty; (ii) 'Big Food' companies and single-use plastics; (iii) multistakeholder governance and the politics of recycling

I have published in a range of interdisciplinary journals, including Global Environmental Politics, One Earth, Policy & Politics, Global Policy and The Lancet
