PhD project title: "(Nature's Law) That Man Was Made to Mourn": Homelessness, Dispossession and Madness in Scotland's Medical Greenspace.

My research sits in medical anthropology, investigating the role of emergent NHS Green Health programming for folks experiencing intersecting forms of social marginalisation, including homelessness, diagnosis and treatment for mental illness or disability, substance-use issues, and/or involvement with the criminal justice system. Funded by the Wenner-Gren Foundation, my ethnographic research explores how greenspace is mobilised as a configuration of care within NHS Scotland and partner services, and how such landscapes are shaped by broader infrastructures of coloniality and exclusion.
