Background
I am a PhD researcher working on political participation, civic technologies and inequalities. My thesis is provisionally titled "Fulfilling the equality promise? Exploring how civic tech mediates political in/equalities in policymaking". Using mixed methods (surveys, interviews and computational text analysis), I am investigating how participatory processes for policymaking powered by civic tech are interacting with socio-economic inequalities. I am engaging with different stakeholders (citizens, civic tech organisations and policymakers) to have a comprehensive understanding of the topic.
I am also the lead of the EYCE (Education, Youth and Civic Engagement) Hub at LSE Consulting, the consultancy arm of the London School of Economics and Political Science. I manage projects and conduct research related to education evaluations, youth policy and public opinion, democratic governance and civic engagement.
In my free time, I love to read, run, explore Scotland with my wife and friends, participate actively in Scotland's Catalan Centre activities, watch FC Barcelona games (especially when we win), and listen to podcasts about politics and football.
